Lent 2024 Small Group Registration

Beginning 2/19/24 through 3/21/24; Group sessions will be about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. | Walking in the Wilderness: Seeking God during Lent by Beth Richardson

From the book description:
"If you feel like you're living in the wilderness these days, you're not alone. People of faith are struggling as they witness chaotic events around the world: the effects of a pandemic, racism, acts of violence, immigration crises", and climate change, not to mention periods of personal wilderness due to grief, disconnection, illness or change.

This book offers daily scripture and reflections/meditations inviting you to pause and connect with God in the midst of life's challenges. It introduces spiritual practices to help us explore our inner 'wilderness'. We know that the journey is often richer and deeply transformative when we journey together. We look forward to traversing this 'wilderness' time with you.
Small Groups will meet from the week of February 19 through the week March 18, for 5 times. Sessions will last about an hour and 15 minutes.   Please indicate a first and second choice of group.  We are trying to keep each group at no more than 12 people. Because one of the purposes of small groups is to develop intentional relationships, please plan on sticking with whatever group you join for the entire Lenten season.

The groups will meet at the following times:

Mondays 6:30 pm online,
Tuesdays 6:30 pm online (zoom),
Wednesdays 10:30 am in person with a zoom option, at UCC

Information on how to obtain the book is in your confirmation email  We are asking participants to order their own book. We suggest your order the book right away.
