Small Group: The Universal Christ: How A Forgotten Reality Can Change Everything We See, Hope For, and Believe

Tuesday evenings: October 26, November 2, 9, and 16; Begin again in January 2022, starting date tbd by group | Join the team of UCC Missoula’s contemplative group for a delve into Richard Rohr’s transformative view of Jesus as the Universal Christ, and practice circle where we can explore contemplative practices, grow in presence to one another and become a more engaged presence to the world.

Whether you are steeped in contemplative practice or new to it, we think you will find this time together to be both enriching, profound, and grounding, especially in these troubled times.

The group will meet on Tuesday evenings, in two four-week periods: October 26-November 16, take a break for Advent, and then return to meet again for 4 (four) weeks in January. Based on the current levels of the pandemic, we will probably need to meet over Zoom initially.

Participants will need the book The Universal Christ by Richard Rohr (available at amazon.com @$14.99) and the Companion Guide for Groups available on the Center for Action and Contemplation Website ($5.00 - https://store.cac.org/collections/cac-published/products/companion-guide-for-groups-the-universal-christ)
We will place an order for books soon. Scholarships for books are available. Or let us know if you are ordering on your own.
